Below is a list of information provided by Wyuka Cemetary, Nebraska City, NE. The information that is in parenthesis comes from the gravestones.

Who are these people?

• 1 - unknown - I would think a child who died at birth as there is no first name.
• 2 - Annie - wife of David B (who is the son of Joseph and Margaret, my great-grandmother)
• 3 - Amy - wife of Larsh (son of David B, my grandmother)
• 4 - Charles E - Joseph E. (son of David B) had a son Charles E., but he is, to the best of my knowledge, still alive. His wife is Helen, who owns the plot. It is possible that they had a child named Charles E. who died in 1962.
• 5 - David Infant - Child of David B and Annie
• 6 - David B - son of Joseph and Margaret, my great-grandfather
• 7 - Dorothy E - infant daughter of Joseph E (son of David B)
• 8 - Daisy - unknown
• 9 - Helen - I assume that this is the plot for Helen, wife of Charles E (son of Joseph E, grandson of David B) and that she has not died
• 10 - Isah (Isaiah) - possibly brother of Joseph and son of Isaac and Susan. I don't know of any other Isaiahs. He shows up in the 1860 Otoe County census. So many of Joseph's siblings either came with them to Nebraska City in 1855 or soon thereafter, that it gets tough to figure out what happened to people.
• 11 - Larsh B - son of David B, grandson of Joseph and Margaret, my grandfather
• 12 - Lillie May - unknown
• 13 - Mary C - wife of Jacob (son of Isaac and Susan). She may have died in childbirth
• 14 - Mary - this is probably the sister of Joseph. My records need to be organized, but I believe that she shows up in a census record (maybe 1880) and indicates that she has only one foot. I believe she moved to Nebraska after Joseph died, perhaps to help Margaret out with the farm.
• 15 - Mrs Lee - this would be the first wife of Leander (son of Joseph and Margaret). Leander himself was burried in back of the outhouse on the farm (after he was hung)
• 16 - Susan - wife of Isaac, mother of Joseph
• 17 - Virginia - wife of William (son of Joseph E., grandson of David B.) She is still alive.
• 18 - William - Bill (son of Joseph E., grandson of David B.) died last year.
• 19 - Alfred - brother of Joseph, I assume. The birthdate works out well. Joseph and Margaret are not burried here. No one I know seems to know where they are burried. Joseph may have died before Wyuka was established.
