Search the 1850-1860 Census for Shellenberger.

• The 1850 census is complete as humanly possible. If you know of a Shellenberger in the 1850 census that is not shown just email me and I will add them.
• The 1860 census only includes PA and OH and scattered other counties.

1. Choose AND or OR: Choose weither the results should contain all the terms you listed (an AND query) which will make your results shorter or any of the terms you have listed (an OR query) which will make your results longer.
2. Family or Individual: Choose weither you would like to see the whole family for each match or just the individual you are looking for.
3. Case sensitive: Choose weither to make the search case sensitive (ie weither the terms should have exactly your upper and lower case letters.)

• Do not include punctuation.
• Do not search for a last name. They are all forms of Shellenberger and census takers cannot spell.

• Enter first name, state, county, township, or occupation.
• Census takers cannot spell so try different spellings.
• Entering a state, county or township only will return every family in that state, county or township.

Examples:

"John Berks" and you mark "All the terms" and "Only the individual" you will get all the John Shellenbergers in Berks County but not their families.

"Ann Fayette" and you mark "Any of the terms", "Include family", and do not mark "Pay attention to capitalization" you will get a long list including the whole family for every family in Fayette County, Fayette Township of Juniata County, Nannville Township in Lebanon County, and every family with a Susanna, Hannah, Lucyann, Feyanna, Maryann, Luann, Fanny, Julianne, Anne, Ann, Anna ... you get the point.
